Church Report (2017)

The Church of God Inner Man Gospel, Inc. has come this far by faith, leaning on and trusting in the Lord. We have been faithful to continue building our church on prayer and our vision is sustained and propelled to new heights by prayer. Looking back over the last year we feel the most important thing is to say thank you! Thank you to God for his faithfulness and provision. Thank you to each and every person who faithfully supports and contributes to the Church of God Inner Man Gospel, Inc. and its associated ministries.

The year past has been more of strengthening of leadership than major growth.  Pastor David has been developing and building a personal commitment, connection, and relationship with his leadership. His primary focus has been realizing and properly utilizing their gifts, talents, and strengths to facilitate their effectiveness in life and ministry. One of the most beneficial ways he has facilitated training for leaders was assigning them to teach R.E.E.L. Talk’s Bible Study, once a month, as well as, presenting a weekly offertory message to our church.

At the Church of God Inner Man Gospel, Inc., we are a local community of everyday people who seek to embrace our city and touch the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We value our unity as the body of Christ, enjoying one another’s diversity and uniqueness, joining in fellowship with one another in worship and prayer, and reaching out to meet the needs of others with compassion and love.

Over the past year, we’ve been able to consistently reach hundreds—weekly- with our Sunday morning worship service; R.E.E.L. Talk Bible Study and One Hour Corporate Prayer conference calls. There have been numerous souls saved and testimonies of miraculous healings, restoration of families, as well as, supernatural debt cancelations and wealth transfers. The Church of God Inner Man Gospel, Inc. continues to foster and create an atmosphere in which the presence of God is made available and the prophetic anointing is able to flow freely.

Here at the Church of God Inner Man Gospel, Inc., we remain faithful and committed to training and equipping ordinary people to go and do extraordinary things in the name of Jesus so that all might see, hear and experience God’s love in tangible ways. We are dedicated to creating spiritually mature Christians by moving them through a strategic process of discipleship, service and outreach. As a result, this past year, we were privileged to welcome two new partners, Antoinette Scott and Sharon Hannah, who are great assets to the ministry. Furthermore, we have helped and financially contributed to families in crisis.

August, 2016, we successfully launched and unveiled the new church website! The new website provides visitors an easier way to learn more about Church of God Inner Man Gospel, Inc. Currently, the website features: Service Schedule Times, an About Us Page, Upcoming Events, Online Giving, R.E.E.L. Talk Replay, and an Annual Church Report, just to name a few.

In February 2017, we hosted our 2nd Annual Red & White Passion Gala, a night of fine dining, music and entertainment, for married couples to rekindle their romance and fall in love all over again, and for singles to enjoy time alone or meet like-minded individuals and develop God-centered relationships. In addition, we were a tremendous financial blessing to many in attendance.

In spite of the challenges, this past year has been an exciting journey of walking by faith! The reward of renewed faith, spirituality and growth is a true testament to this year’s theme “Destined for Greatness!”

Our goal for 2018, even now, is to win more souls for Christ, through outreaches, (foreign and domestic), to influence people of all walks of life to be strengthened with might by the Spirit in the inner man, to cultivate and facilitate healthy relationships with family, church, and community; thereby, making disciples of all nations to which they are called, with the life-giving message of Jesus Christ!

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, we still trust and believe… Something Big Is Going to Happen!”
